6ix9ine is unleashing a new single this week after accusing the US singles chart of ‘manipulating’ numbers to favour other artists’ music.
The rapper shared on Instagram that he will drop the song this coming Friday 29 May.
It follows the track Gooba which was released earlier this month.
Posting a video on social media, he captioned it: THIS FRIDAY TROLLZ. ANOTHER ONE!!!!!! THEY WISH THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE!!!! IT CANT BE TRUE!! B***H I AM THE INTERNET.’
Wearing a bright yellow outfit and a multicoloured scarf around his head, 6ix9ine called out anyone who might have been ‘praying, “please don’t let him come home and be lit again.”‘
He went on: ‘Instead of wasting prayers on another man’s downfall, you should be praying for a career. You ain’t ready for no pandemic.
‘How a n***a on house arrest get more money than y’all?’
6ix9ine also emptied out what looked like bag full of cash, adding that he has merchandise on the way too.
Letting fans choose the title, he added in another post: ‘MOST LIKED COMMENT WILL BE THE NAME OF THE SONG.’ Yes, all caps.
The winner turned out to be the rapper’s own comment Trollz (maybe it was the planned title all along).
Billboard recently had to explain how they worked out the number one single after 6ix9ine’s accusations.
He claimed that the Hot 100 gave ‘paid-for number ones’ after Gooba charted in third place behind Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s number one charity single Stuck With U and Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj’s Say So at number two.
