It’s not long now until Tyson Fury and former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou go head to head in the ring, in a match boxing fans  can’t wait to see..

The much-anticipated bout this weekend sees Ngannou make his professional boxing debut, with the fight materialising after Fury failed to agree a undisputed world heavyweight meeting with Oleksandr Usyk.

While Fury may be the favourite to triumph in the ring, both fighters are set to benefit from the bout – landing a significant payday for taking part.

But just how much does Tyson Fury stand to earn for the match?

How much could Tyson Fury earn from the Francis Ngannou fight?

While purses for boxing matches are not disclosed, it’s been reported that Tyson Fury could walk away a cool $50 million (£39m) richer.

Derek Chisora told FightHub TV that Fury would pocket the eye-watering sum as he addressed the criticism he has received for taking on a boxing rookie after his fight with Usyk collapsed.

Speaking about the criticism Fury has received for taking on a boxing rookie after his fight with Usyk collapsed, Derek Chisora has said: They don’t know how much Tyson’s getting paid. That’s why they criticise him.’

He added: ‘He’s getting paid $50 mil.’

Ngannou is also reported to be bagging a hefty sum for the bout, with Tyson Fury saying he stands to walk away $10m (£8.2m) richer.

Speaking ahead of the bout he said: ‘Everyone said he was an idiot for walking away from the UFC and now all of a sudden he’s a genius, isn’t he?

‘Guy’s about to make $10 million. Come on! Egg in their face! Francis is going to make that bag. Rich!’

Those sums are not believed to factor in sponsorships, however – so the total earnings from the fight could be even higher.
