The judge and Little Britain star is meant to meet Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon in a London park for a brisk little mid-morning jog before they start work, but lets just say he turns up in something no-one expects.
Somehow, he’s managed to find (or sew himself, you just don’t know) a pair of trousers that makes it looks like he’s getting a piggyback from a very small Simon Cowell.
The attention to detail was massive, though, he even got the chest hair just right.
‘Wait for us!’ David squeals. ‘Simon is very kindly giving me a lift to work.’
‘Oh my god!’ Alesha screams and Amanda has what can only be described as a laughing fit. ‘David!’
Well, that certainly is one way to get to work, beats the Tube.

David and his strange, strange obsession with Simon aside, it looks like we’re in for a truly mind-blowing episode of BGT tonight, as always.
Wild At Heart actress Amanda will be left sobbing by a mother and daughter act who take to stage – and we’re all feeling a bit emotional at the moment, right? This could tip us over the edge.
Syco mogul Simon gets less emotional over some dancing turtles (yes, really, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are timeless, you know) but will they do enough to get through?

Tonight’s episode could also be a family affair, after a giant crab (well, a man in a costume) claims he’s actually related to Ant McPartlin.
Somebody get the DNA testing kit out, please.
Britain’s Got Talent airs at 8pm tonight on ITV.
