In a first look clip from tonight’s BGT, we see Souparnika Nair take to the stage to sing Judy Garland’s The Trolley Song.
Although just as she began to sing, the music mogul held his hand up in the air to stop the song.
He asked Alesha Dixon: ‘Can I stop the song?’
Speaking to Souparnika about why he stopped the audition he said: ‘Love you, don’t love the song.
‘It’s the sort of song I imagine if David ever released a single, honestly that is what it would be and I couldn’t get that out of my head.’
What a stunning performance! (Picture: Dymond/Thames/Syco/REX)
‘Can I hear The Greatest Showman song because then we can hear a different part of your voice,’ he added.
The 10-year-old from Bury St Edmonds then proceeded to sing Never Enough by Loren Allred, from The Greatest Showman.
And it was a spine-tingling performance.
David Walliams told her: ‘That is a mountain of a song, and you conquered it.’
‘I cannot get my head around that you’re 10 years old standing up there like a little professional,’ Alesha continued.
And as Simon said, she nailed it! (Picture: Dymond/Thames/Syco/REX)
While Simon simply added: ‘I’ve got to be honest with you, you absolutely nailed it. You’re a gutsy little thing, you really are.’
Sourparnika is not shy of the spotlight either, as she was once the Unexpected Star on Michael McIntyre’s show.
