Chelsea star Raheem Sterling escapes FA ban after allegedly throwing object at Tottenham fans
The FA have concluded their investigation.

Raheem Sterling will face no further action after footage appeared to show the Chelsea star throwing an object at fans during their win at Tottenham.
The FA reportedly opened an investigation into the England international on Thursday, but according to the Evening Standard they will not be bringing charges against the forward.
The incident occurred during the chaotic London derby on Monday night that Chelsea won 4-1, as Cole Palmer celebrated his equalising penalty with his teammates in front on Spurs supporters.
In footage actually released on Chelsea’s own TikTok account, an object is seen landing near Palmer and as the players headed back towards the centre circle, Sterling can be seen bending down to pick up the object before appearing to toss it back towards the crowd.
It was speculated that the FA could hand the 28-year-old a match ban, in line with similar cases from the Premier League’s past.
Current Tottenham forward Richarlison was given a one-match ban for throwing a lit flare back into the crowd after scoring for Everton in the 2021/22 season.
