Jennifer Lopez has proven that the lockdown isn’t going to hold her back, with the star filming scenes for her upcoming movie on Zoom.
The singer and actress (and all-round queen) is set to star in rom-com Marry Me alongside Maluma, with the pair attempting to continue filming virtually.
‘It was me at home and Maluma in Colombia. We weren’t sure how it was going to work out,’ she explained.
Jennifer added to Variety: ‘Someone came in and set up a camera and lights, and then left because of social distancing. We had a Zoom call. I start doing the scene with Maluma and we’re hearing echoers and we’re all like, “Everyone has to mute.”
‘We were just figuring it out as we go. We got through the scene. It’s going to be in the movie. It’s not the ideal way of filmmaking, but we got it done.’
It seems JLo’s having the same work meeting problems as the rest of us – who would have thought?

The upcoming movie, which the two stars are powering ahead with, will follow a popstar (JLo, of course) who is left at the alter by her fiancé (Maluma) at a huge wedding at Madison Square Garden.
She then decides to pick someone from the crowd (Owen Wilson) and marry him instead.
Late last year, before any sign of the lockdown, Owen and Jennifer were spotted filming in New York City, dressed up to the nines.
Jen rocked a pale pink coat and dress, with Owen fixing a corsage to her wrist at one point during filming in New York City, with the on-screen couple giving us all the date night goals.

Meanwhile, the star, who has been preparing for her own big day with fiancé Alex Rodriguez, recently admitted their plans are in limbo due to the pandemic.
‘Any day now?!’ the actress coyly replied to Ellen DeGeneres when asked if the wedding was due scheduled imminently.
She continued: ‘Actually, it did affect it a little bit, so we will see what happens now. Honestly, I really don’t know what’s going to happen now, as far as dates or anything like that.
