Joe Lycett just couldn’t resist making a dig at Dominic Cummings during his anti-pub quiz fundraiser, dedicating an entire round to the Prime Minister’s chief aide who has come under fire for breaking lockdown rules.
That’s one way to stay on topic?
Mr Cummings was criticised for travelling to Durham, after his wife began experiencing coronavirus symptoms.
He was also accused of visiting Barnard Castle, 30 miles away from where he was staying – later claiming that the drive was so he could test his eyesight, as his vision had been blurred.
Mr Cummings held a televised press conference earlier this week defending his actions, insisting he acted ‘legally and reasonably’ while worried for his wife and child.
He’s since been subjected to more backlash and taking the opportunity to poke fun, Joe couldn’t resist putting together a picture round basically inspired by the rule break.

Over on Instagram Live, Joe had hosted an anti-pub quiz for his followers and to raise money for Centerpoint, a charity supporting young homeless people.
It was made up of four outright bizarre rounds, with the last round titled Cummings and Goings.
Joe joked the round was made up of 10 pictures – ‘blurry, because your eyesight’s not that great’ – of castles, with fans playing along having to guess which castles they were.
‘It’s not inspired by anything really, just a random idea me and my friends came up with,’ Joe teased before kicking off the round.

Asking fans as a blurred picture popped up if they knew what castle it was, Joe joked: ‘It’s probably worth testing your eyesight by driving a 60-mile round trip to see it.’
And just for those who’d missed it, Joe then posted the round to Twitter, tweeting: ‘For those who missed the quiz here’s one round called CUMMINGS AND GOINGS. You’ve taken a drive to a castle to test your eyesight because it’s a bit blurry, but which castle have you driven to?’
Joe’s quiz had been his first ever Instagram Live and by the time it wrapped up, he had raised over £682 for his chosen charity.
Before it all got underway, Joe explained that the nature of his anti-pub quiz would be slightly different to the quizzes most people are used to, as he told fans: ‘I hate quizzes, I don’t like a quiz, I find them really annoying, this is a quiz that I think I would enjoy… it’s really impossible to get right.’
The star, who recently changed his name to Hugo Boss to take on the fashion house, added: ‘Few words of warning…. there isn’t too much rude stuff in the quiz itself, but mummy’s on the wine, so anything can happen, we could end up with a few swear words.’
He presented it live from his kitchen, with the first round seeing fans guess whether the name on screen was a type of plant pot or a type of pot (as in weed).

The second round was 10 celebrities saying the word ‘that’ (yep, just ‘that’) and you had to guess who it was, while the third round was guessing what Joe had drawn.
And, of course, there was little gems from Joe throughout, like this one: ‘This key’s quite sticky because I spilt a pornstar martini on it yesterday… that showbiz life.’
Oh, and some lucky fans could try and connect to the video call to try and guess what vegetable Joe was holding in his hand…
