Here’s how the queens fared after the latest episode of Drag Race (Picture: VH1)
Happy Makeover week, RuPaul’s Drag Race fans!
It’s another one of the firm favourites of every season, and this year they brought in the superfans for a surprise glossy transformation – and it was every bit as wholesome as we would’ve hoped.
Given six excited an eager cisgender women to slap a mug on, there were a lot of happy and sad tears as the series heads towards its final stages.
The fans brought a new lease of lives to the queens and gave them a much needed reminder of just how fun this show can be – which is nice, considering some of the frontrunners have fallen under the pressure of the competition.
Now they’ve taken some drag babies under their win and gave them the opportunity of a lifetime – complete with a lipsync extravaganza.
Throw in Star Wars starlet Daisy Ridley, clearly as much as a superfan as the rest of them as she sat on the judges panel (seriously, this series’ celeb guests have been almost complete perfection), this latest instalment was just pure joy.
Due to events after the episode was filmed, Sherry Pie will not be in our rankings.
Crystal and her partner gave us everything this episode (Picture: VH1)
She might not have won this week, but Crystal bringing a glam Bert and Ernie to the runway? We have no choice but to stan.
Crystal and her partner Opal Methyd was the driving force of pure fun this week, and they seemed to be loving every second of getting to know each other.
Over accessorised clown realness by way of the late 80s is this year’s look and we’re buying it.
Every moment of the queen and the kindergarten teacher bringing everything they had on and off the runway made us beam.
She was our winner this episode, and we love it.
Jaida Essence Hall is continuing to slay (Picture: VH1)
Jaida Essence Hall
Jaida absolutely killed the couple ups this week, and she earned her spot at the top of the leaderboard, landing her third win.
Her new drag daughter Jazz Essence Hall was definitely struggling a little bit on the runway in those heels, but mama knows best and she definitely showed that with her pep talks.
Stunning as always with curves and swerves to die for, Jaida is now one of the frontrunners for the crown with good reason.
Gigi almost disappeared this week (Picture: VH1)
This week was almost made for Gigi, whose costume design background and high fashion eye is well established in this competition.
But yet again, she seemed safe as the others started taking bolder risks in order to stand out and rise up.
Bebe Badde definitely looked stunning and the pair earned their place as safe, but we’re going to need you to step up your game, girl, you’re in the semi-finals!
Heidi ended up in the bottom two (Picture: VH1)
Heidi N Closet / Heidi Ho / Heidi Afrodite
Heidi N Closet is a great name and it is a CRIME that they keep trying to make her change it – but saying that Heidi Afrodite has a little bit of a ring to it.
Nicole/Honey Almighty definitely had a bit of trouble with her self-esteem, but if anyone can rise her spirits in this competition, then it’s Heidi.
But we already done knew that make-up and design wasn’t necessarily Heidi’s strong suit, and she missed some valuable opportunities to make them look more like family members.
Like Ru and Michelle pointed out, it was the little things, like painting on a gap, or using the same material for both their outfits, that would’ve made all the difference.
Landing in the bottom two for the third time, Heidi is now treading on thin ice to keep herself in the competition, and we all know ‘if they have to lip sync for their life every week they will’ never gets anyone to the final.
Let’s just hope she manages to keep herself in the game enough to make it to the final.
Jackie came too close to leaving this week. (Picture: VH1)
Jackie Cox and Tiffany (like the jewellery) were definitely not bad this week – which makes this lowest position so frustrating because, as the judges consistently say, it’s ‘splitting hairs at this point.’
They just weren’t as strong as their competitors for some reason, with Ru and Michelle rightly saying there was something in their chemistry that just didn’t gel as much as the others
They both looked bleedin’ fabulous though, and new drag daughter Lil Snacky Cox fully brought it on the runway as a lifelong Drag Race fan.

We’re glad that Jackie managed to bring it for another day because our heart broke at the idea of our two faves going head-to-head, but we’re need to keep our fingers crossed that she’ll up her game next episode.
RuPaul’s Drag Race continues Fridays on VH1 in the US and Saturdays on Netflix in the UK.
