Taylor Swift fans think they’ve figured out how she just got one up on rival Scooter Braun (Picture: Getty)
Taylor Swift is one clever fox and fans are shook at the way she just got a one-up on her rivals Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta.
It all began when Taylor took to Twitter to praise a mystery artist for their cover of her infamous diss track, Look What You Made Me Do, which featured in the opening titles of an episode of Killing Eve.
It seemed simple enough as she told fans that she was ‘very stoked’ that Jack Leopards and The Dolphin Club did the cover for the show.
But a quick look online revealed that, apart from the Tay Swizzle cover, the band doesn’t have any other songs.
In fact, they don’t seem to be a real band at all.
And that’s when eagle-eyed Swifites noticed that Nils Sjoberg – which is Taylor Swift’s pseudonym – had been credited as a producer on the cover.

While more listens of the track then led some fans to believe that the vocals on the songs are none other than Taylor’s own brother Austin.
Indeed, earlier this, it was reported that Swift had ‘begged’ Killing Eve creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge to let her little brother be part of the soundtrack.
And then there is the fact Austin’s Twitter used to be The Dolphin Club!

Fans can’t help but think that Taylor went through all this trouble to release the song with a fake band, so that Scotter Braun – who bought her back catalogue from Scott Borchetta’s Big Machine Records – can’t make any money from it.
Taylor previously called out Scooter after Scott sold him the masters of her first six albums in the summer – a deal worth $300million (£240m).
Taylor Swift might not be able to end Scooter Braun, but Nils Sjöberg undoubtedly can.

so basically “jack leopards and the dolphin club” is a band of austin swift, jack antonoff and nils sjöberg aka taylor swift. I hate her sometimes. pic.twitter.com/nfL03ESmYe

Nils Sjoberg (Taylorâs songwriting pseudonym) is listed on the LWYMMD coverâs credit. Sheâs using the pseudonym again to get around her music being hijacked from her.

She branded the situation the ‘worst case scenario’ and accused Scooter of ‘incessant bullying’ throughout her career, claiming she was never given the opportunity to buy her masters herself and was completely unaware of the deal.
However, Scott and Scooter – who also manages Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato – publicly denied all allegations, stating they were untrue.
