Italian police are investigating after a British woman was found stabbed to death at her home.
The 66-year-old’s body was found by a friend who went to her house in the Verratti district to find her after being unable to reach her by phone.
The woman has not yet been named.
Officers are reportedly looking for the woman’s husband, who is said to have left in the family car.
