Moment fearless Brit throws back seven Hamas grenades before eighth explodes in his hand
Aner Shapira, 22, died while shielding other partygoers at the Supernova Festival massacre.
New video footage shows the moment an off-duty soldier threw back seven grenades at Hamas terrorists while protecting others.
Even as Hamas surrounded the entrance to the bomb shelter, Israeli soldier Aner jumped into action.
The newly released clip reveals a group of soldiers surrounding the bomb shelter, before throwing in several grenades.
But each time a grenade was thrown into the shelter, Aner threw it back at the terrorists.
Over the course of four minutes, Hamas gunmen can be seen ducking as the explosives they threw inside the bomb shelter came flying back at them – and even calling for backup.

In an interview with Kan News, Aner’s mum said her son was protecting other festivalgoers hiding in the bomb shelter.
She added: ‘He stood at the entrance, and threw the grenades out. And he managed to save so many people.’
His grandma Yamima Ben-Menahem told Sky: ‘When the terrorists came nearer, he stood at the entrance, and when they started throwing grenades into the shelter, he said, “I’m going to throw them back, and if I miss one, you do the rest of the work.”
‘The people who survived started calling us… and one after the other said: “He saved our lives.”‘
South First Responders shared the video and said those he shielded from the grenades lived to tell the tale.
The organisation added: ‘Shapira eventually died of wounds sustained while holding off the terrorists, as he fought to save the lives of his fellow party-goers.’
Aner was one of 3,500 revellers who after a night dancing to trance music in the Negev desert were targeted by Hamas in a shock incursion, sparking all out war.
More than 11,000 Palestinians and 1,400 Israelis are dead after the bloody battle began on October 7.
