Normal People’s Daisy Edgar-Jones has shared some adorable behind-the-scenes snaps from everyone’s favourite new drama and, tbh, we’re already crying.
Daisy stars alongside Paul Mescal as sweethearts Marianne and Connel, through their time in both secondary school and university in Dublin.
Viewers see the duo weaving in and out of each other’s romantic lives, and Daisy has now given us an adorable insight into filming the adaption of Sally Rooney’s best-selling 2018 novel.
In the snaps, she can be seen alongside Paul, holding a bottle of beer alongside a clapperboard.
Other pictures include the cast rambling about in the Irish wilderness, Daisy posing with a co-star in the sunshine and a certain book that we recognise on display in a bookshop.
We wonder how the adaption of that went, by the way? Well?
‘Here are just a few of the beautiful faces involved in the making of NP, more to come later. The most wonderful cast and crew and my best pals,’ she wrote.

Honestly, you’re not crying, we are.
Daisy also previously shared some insider info into the auditioning process on the show – admitting that she had to ‘snog the air.’
Which, we’re sure looked totally fine.

Normal People has become an international obsession since it dropped, but it seems to have caused more than a little controversy in Ireland over its depiction of sex.
The intimate scenes in the drama managed to spark a lively debate on Joe Duffy’s Liveline, and let’s just say there were a lot of opinions flying around.
Normal People is available to stream on BBC iPlayer now.
