Saudi Pro League clubs are ready to make January moves for Manchester United star Jadon Sancho with Tottenham forward Richarlison also a target.

Sancho has not played for the club since August, exiled from the first-team after a public falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.

The winger was dropped from the squad for the defeat to Arsenal in early September with ten Hag revealing his omission was down to a perceived lack of effort in training.

Sancho publicly denied his manager’s claims, insisting he had been made a ‘scapegoat’.

Sancho has not been allowed to train with the senior squad with a January exit looking increasingly likely.

Saudi clubs raided the Premier League in the summer transfer window with a number of sides looking to further strengthen in January.

Al-Ettifaq, managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, were interested in signing Sancho before the transfer window closed in September, with his falling out with ten Hag then still fresh.

Sancho was not interested in the move at the time but according to the Daily Telegraph, Saudi sides hope to strike a deal in the New Year.

It remains to be seen whether Sancho’s stance on a move to Middle East has changed.

Tottenham forward Richarlison could also have offers. The Brazil international has struggled to find any consistent goal-scoring form since his £50m move from Everton in July 2022, scoring just twice this season.

The 26-year-old has started seven times in the league this season but even with Harry Kane’s summer move to Bayern Munich, has seldom played through the middle with Son Heung-min currently Ange Postocoglou’s preferred option.

Brennan Johnson has also been selected ahead of him on the left with Richarlison also now set for a month on the sidelines having undergone surgery.
