Passengers were told to evacuate after a bomb threat at an airport in Denmark.

Billund Airport is being evacuated after a bomb threat this morning, local outlets report.

All passengers and staff were told to leave the airport at about 11.40am today, Jyllands-Posten reports citing Ekstra Bladet and TV2.

Police urged people on social media to not travel to the airport.

The airport is located around 165 miles west of the capital Copenhagen and less than two miles from Legoland.
