At least three people have been killed after an out-of-control car crashed into a beer garden.

Several people are believed to have been seriously injured after the crash at the Royal Hotel at Daylesford, north west of Melbourne, Australia, at 6pm local time on Sunday.

Four air ambulances as well as police and multiple ambulance crews rushed to the scene, MailOnline reports.

Victoria Police confirmed the crash on social media on Sunday evening.

A spokesman for the force said on X (formerly Twitter): ‘Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious crash in Vincent Street Daylesford.

‘As emergency services need access to the scene we ask that members of the public avoid the area. Police are putting diversions in place.’
