Chelsea fans turned on the players and the club’s ownership during their 4-2 defeat at home to Wolves on Sunday.

Cole Palmer had given Chelsea the lead at Stamford Bridge but Wolves were ahead by the half-time break through Matheus Cunha and an own goal from Axel Disasi.

Chelsea’s players were booed off down the tunnel at half time but it did not get any better for Pochettino’s side after the restart as Cunha scored twice more to complete his hat-trick, before Thiago Silva pulled a late goal back.

The discontent was made clear by Chelsea supporters at Stamford Bridge as they sang Roman Abramovich’s name during the second half and even booed off Raheem Sterling when he was replaced in the 72nd minute.

The defeat leaves Chelsea 11th in the Premier League table and 15 points behind Aston Villa who currently occupy fourth place.

The defeat will also piled more pressure on Pochettino, whose side have now been beaten 10 times in the Premier League this season.

Chelsea will now play Aston Villa in their FA Cup fourth-round replay at Villa PArek on Wednesday.
