Dominik Szoboszlai is set to miss Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday.

The 23-year-old, who returned from a hamstring injury in the 5-2 win over Norwich City in the FA Cup last Sunday, trained with his Liverpool teammates on Friday.

However, the Hungary international was not seen with Liverpool’s squad which travelled to London on Saturday.

However, both Darwin Nunez and Thiago Alcantara, who is yet to feature for Liverpool this season, travelled to London ahead of their side’s crucial match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Nunez had suffered a foot injury in the 4-1 victory over Chelsea on Wednesday evening and was forced to leave Anfield wearing a protective boot.

‘I don’t know if Darwin is available or not because after 20 minutes somebody stepped on his foot and it was very painful,’ Jurgen said in his pre-match press conference.

‘He only took the boot off after the game because he didn’t want to see it before, he knew there was something, so he left the stadium in a boot, and it was not a football boot.

‘Nothing broke, X-ray clear, but swollen. We have to see if he can get this foot back in the boot or not.’

But the Uruguay international was part of Friday’s training session as Liverpool made their final preparations before travelling to London.

Thiago was also present during Friday’s training session and the 32-year-old is now closing to making his first appearance of the season.

The midfielder has been sidelined since requiring surgery on a hip injury in May.

Elsewhere, Mohamed Salah continues his recovery from the hamstring injury he suffered at the Africa Cup of Nations.

On Wednesday, the Egypt international posted a positive update as he uploaded a picture of himself running at Liverpool’s training ground.

But the 31-year-old, who has scored 14 goals in the Premier League this season, is yet to resume full training with his Liverpool teammates.
