Former Chelsea boss Rudd Gullit says Jose Mourinho ‘still has it’ and could return to Stamford Bridge for a third stint in charge.

Pressure is mounting on Mauricio Pochettino, with Chelsea in 11th place in the Premier League.

The Blues were beaten by Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final, despite Jurgen Klopp’s side being depleted by injuries and the Reds fielding a number of youngsters.

Supporters have started to turn on Pochettino, who already faced an uphill task in winning them over given his Spurs connections.

Despite their expensive squad, Chelsea’s first team is one of the youngest in the Premier League.

Gullit, though, believes Mourinho could work well with the young players and that the former Roma boss still has the appetite to succeed.

He has young players and Mourinho could do that with young players,’ Gullit told beIN Sports.

‘He can. I think he can. I like Mourinho. I think what he’s done is unbelievable.

‘He’s been in difficult situations. He was sometimes taking attention to the wrong things at time but I think he has it.’
