Prince William is ‘disgusted’ by Prince Harry’s enormous fortune, which leaves ‘poor taste’

Prince Harry is likely to inherit a wealth when he turns 40 in September, and sources say Prince William is outraged that this is allowed.

According to insiders, Prince William is unhappy that his brother Prince Harry is receiving a large sum of money in only a few weeks.

The Duke of Sussex will inherit £7 million from a fund established by his great-great grandmother, the Queen Mother, when he turns 40 on September 15.

Harry is expected to receive a larger share of the inheritance than his brother, as William already benefits from the Duchy of Cornwall’s wealth.

However, the Prince of Wales is allegedly dissatisfied with the sum, given that Harry has stepped down as a senior royal and has since criticized Royal Family members on television and in his explosive memoir Spare.

An insider told Closer, “William’s pretty disgusted that Harry’s going to cash out and take millions back to his Montecito home without lifting a finger.”

“There’s nothing he can do about it, aside from shaking his head, but if it were up to him, Harry would not be getting this payday.

“William doesn’t think his brother is in any position to be getting this handout and he’s letting it be known that he things it’s a pretty rotten situation.

“William and Kate don’t trust Harry or Meghan one bit, so the idea that Harry’s now cashing in on his great-Granny’s inheritance leaves a very bitter taste in their mouths.”

Since leaving the UK for the United States in 2020, Harry has criticized his family and the royal monarchy on several occasions.

In Spare, he said he was left with stitches after a physical struggle with William. He revealed to Oprah Winfrey that he and his sibling were on “different paths” and hoped things would “heal”.

Meghan Markle, meanwhile, claimed that her sister-in-law Princess Kate left her in tears with a comment before her wedding day and accused an unnamed Royal Family member of racism.

According to Closer, William believes the bequest demonstrates Harry “essentially being rewarded after the terrible treatment he’s shown them all” and that it “is just wrong on so many levels”.

Express.co.uk has contacted Kensington Palace for a response.

It comes after a critic speculated that Harry would have missed out on the inheritance if the Queen Mother had known what was coming.

Christopher Andersen told Fox News, “Of course, the prince’s great-granny couldn’t have anticipated all the trouble Harry caused the rest of the family. I think she would have cut him out of [the trust] entirely had she known.”
