“It’s 2024, bodies are changing so planes should too.”

A model who called for larger seats on airplanes has been forced to respond to harsh trolls.

Gracie Bon from Panama is a popular Instagram user with about seven million followers.

Her social media presence features fashion, lifestyle, and travel content, and she is well-known for her attractiveness.

She previously became popular for posting unrecognizable before photographs.

However, the influencer has recently come under fire for criticizing plane seat sizes.

Opinions on whether larger people should pay for an extra plane seat have long been mixed.

Plus-size travel influencer Jaelynn Chaney recently made news for claiming that airline procedures are ‘discriminating’ toward larger travelers.

She believes it is unjust that plus-sized people pay more than slimmer people.

Chaney stated that being compelled to occupy only one seat can cause agony and expose you to harsh treatment from other passengers, such as hostile words, disapproving looks, and even reluctance to sit next to them.

“This mistreatment of plus-size passengers is unacceptable, and it emphasizes the critical need for improved policies that protect the dignity and rights of all passengers, regardless of size.”

“Unfortunately, plus-size passengers frequently face discomfort and discrimination while flying. The absence of a consistent customer-of-size airline policy is unacceptable and must be rectified.

The influencer has taken to social media and discussed the challenges of flying as a plus-sized woman, such as struggling to put a seatbelt on.

Bon said: “So today I had a flight and even if I was flying in first class, I couldn’t fit on the airplane – so this is a petition for all the airlines so big girls like me can fly.

“It’s not my fault I have an a*** this big. Please just make them bigger.”

She said in the post, “Can someone give me an ACTUAL solution,” and included a weeping emoji.

While the post received hundreds of responses, not everyone agreed with Bon.

A troll posts the following: “Buy two seats instead of one, clearly you’ve got plenty of money to afford them.”

“Easy to say but once they make seats bigger there will be less seats and higher prices and then you will complain again and say make it cheaper,” according to another.

A third individual says, “Your choice, your problem.”

Fortunately, not everyone has been so negative, with many people leaving comments and encouraging Bon.

A fan agrees, saying: “It’s so not fair.”

Another writes, “OMG I wish I had the same problems,” with a peach emoji.

“My buttocks aren’t as big as hers, and I’ll need half of the other seat…” My hips are on top of the person next to me. Someone person notes that the seats are simply too small.

Bon has subsequently denied having undergone surgery to acquire her stunning figure.

Gracie posts on Instagram: “WHAT GOD GAVE ME. You can see in the first picture how my ‘natural’ figure appeared, and guess what? They stared at me oddly and body-shamed me because I looked and dressed differently.”
